Chateau Richebon stems from the 5th classified growth Chateau Croizet-Bages, as it was founded by the Croizet brothers in the 18th century. Since 1942 the Quié family has owned the Chateau. Jean Philippe and his sister Anne-Francoise are carefully respecting traditional techniques of the family by carrying out a twenty one day soft maceration period so as to extract the most elegant fruity notes from the grapes which is so particular to the Pauillac appellation.
